[QUOTE="GodLovesDead"][QUOTE="Hellboard"] ? Ohh thats why...Curlyfrii87

If you've had a decent rig for a long enough time, 30 FPS is painful on the eyes. If I have any input lag whatsoever I lose the will to play.

Agreed!

you guys should try what i'm doing.

Im just capping all of my games at 30fps even though I can run them at 60.

It takes awhile to get used to again, but then going back to 60fps after that is so amazing.

I can't hold my anger if it goes under 20. No seriously I hate it when that happens.

You people are all insaine! Games are unplayable under 60 FPS. If it's under the Hz of my LCD monitor, it's not worth playing. I can NOT beieve you people can game at lower fps. Unbelievable.

I get 214 fps with the source enging (Half-Life 2, and Counter-Strike: Source) WITH everything turned ON at 1920x1080.

I also get about 69 to 82 fps on COD4 with EVERYTHING ON high @ 1920x1080.

I couldn't imagine playing under 60 fps and being ANY good at all. Seriously, how can you play anything at 20-50 fps? is it really 'playable' to you guys?

I'm genuinely in shock at your answeres.

For SP I can deal with 25+ usually as long as it doesn't dip. For MP I prefer 50+ (I can't play CoD4 with anything less, it just makes me feel sick).

I've played the crysis demo at 15 frames which almost felt smoothe although I voted 30-40. Anything below 25 and i struggleto buy the illusion of motion.

60 is ideal .. I use to get 120 playing Jedi Outcast online ... but I made tweaks to the .config file to get it there .. 30 fps is obviously playable .. but would rather have 60 once again for most games.

That's because you have a good rig.
