What should i get Half life 2 or Company of heroes

 neither buy a ps3 or 360 and start playing some new games.. all the pc has gotten latly is 2 new games which are medicore and all i ever see is people talking about how great 10 year old games are or how in 2 years their $3000 gaming machine will be outdated.

and for all you pc fanboys lost planet and gears or resistance and motorstorm destroy anything the pc currently has in terms of fun and replay value AND graphics unless you have  2gb ddr2 ram and an 8800gtx but ur also have to wait for crysis to get the most out of that hardware.

Well Even crysis when it comes ou tit will play on 2-3 year computers and I dont have a 3000 dollar(more like a 800 dollar) computer and can play all these newer games maxed so... anyways get Hl2 Its better(story,gameplay are very good) than GOW Or halo2 plus it comes with css so its a better deal. And every console to pc port, the pc has the better graphics and controls. And these "next gen consoles" Pc gamers have been playin these types of games for years with the graphics of the new consoles. And the games for 2007 on Pc alot of them are coming out that the consoles wont get with the goodness of direct x 10. 04dcarraher

Im a FPS fan but also a RTS fan HF 2 got a lot of good reviews I thought the original Half life was the best but in the other hand I heard company of heroes was good too and got PC game of the year for gamespot so which one should i go for?supersmash322

i think Half-life 2 is the better RTS (insert Bob reference here) just kidding

those are entirely different genres, if you like world war 2, then i should recommend coh . Just pick both of them up, they are both excellent games. But if you are in a tight budget, get Half-life 2 first because its cheaper and wait for Potral to came out, it will blow your mind!

Get Company of Heros.   I liked Half-Life 1 but hated Half-Life 2 so if you're not sure, download the demo.   I just found Half-Life 2 to be one of the most boring games ever made and there were so many other things I disliked about it but I won't go into that.

Just download the demos of both games and see which one appeals to you most.

Anyways, to the Topic Kreator: If money is an issue, then go for Half Life 2. If money's no problem, then the choice is up to you. Good luck. I'd choose Half Life 2 myself, 'cause Herrick's not a huge RTS fan. Company of Heroes does look pretty cool. I've played the demo.

well...i cant decide for you but its what gaming type you like that decides it. if you are a Strategy fan then go for COH. but if you like Run with guns and kill what you can the go for HL-2 becous of the effects n' stuff.

you can kill what you can in COH to but in larger masses:P

of course, gears of war looks better than half-life2, Half-life 2 was dated back in 2004, you can't compare that. UT2004 is kinda compare with the playstation 2 but if you have a high power graphics card that time, it will be more better than the playstation 2 in that time.  and to the person above you, you can't compare these 2004 games with a 2006 game, that doesn't make any sense. Plus, it may be vary, it just depends on what type of gaming controller or keyboard or mouse, you more prefer. Yeah i know that the mouse and the keyboard can be good in some situations but sometimes people are used to a controller rather than a keyboard. What, this is just ridculous, PC is for EVERYONE, not only for adults, its like saying nintendo is for kids and the sony is for mature adults.
