What should I look for when searching for a surround sound for my 360?

Make sure it supports optical cable,true surround sounds,THX certified,Dolby digital pro logic II,DTS,HDMI if possible and spend at least 300$ + up imo.

You may also want to look if it's 5.1 or 7.1. 7.1 being better.

"THX Certification" is useless for just about 99.9% of home theater applications, especially for someone looking for a $300 system.
