i just got my new tv what should i play my games in 1080i or 720p whats the difference and if its in 1080i dose it switch to 720p when i watch a movie and then go back
it should say in your tvs manual...but i lost mine so i went to yahoo and typed in the name of the tv and the model number...you should be able to find it that way as well in case u misplaced your manual too...
nice...alot of people say that there isnt much difference between 1080i and 720p but your best bet would be to find the resolution of your tv set your 360 to that setting and have a blast...
yes but will it do good with faster action? Or what about a bunch of smoke grenades and gunfire going off in CoD3? Personally I can't tell a difference between 720p and 1080i detail-wise, but the progressive (p) seems much better for gaming over the interlaced (i).
The major difference is the framerate here... 1080i has a higher resolution but both 1080i & 1080p Runs in 30 Fps (Frames per second), and that will give you the perfect picture for movies.. BUT not for gaming... as 720p Runs in 60 Fps which is also the framerate most games run in. The 720p (p) stands for Progressive Scan which meens the screen updates all the pixels at the same time which 1080i (i) does not.
