What should I uppgrade on my comp so it'll be able to play most of the comming games on medium-high settings.

Specs:

Nvidia 8600gt 256mb, 1 gb RAM, AMD 3500+, power supply 230W, Motherboard unknown(its probbily crap, has geforce 6150le integrated)

its about time for new mobo/proc/ram/psu and keep the vid card for now

Your PC is still able to play the latest games, though not on their highest setting, you can still go for a Medium High Setting. Anyway, I would recommend you get yourself a new Power Supply because yours wont be able to handle anymore upgrade. I suggest you get something around 450Watts or higher. Another thing is, download Everest Home Edition and get to know more about your PC Information. Just google it. :) Happy Upgrading.

Holy Poo, 8600Gt on 230watts? Id upgrade that first, seeing as though you would be able to use it on a future build.

upgrade Ram, prob extra Gig will help, PSU definately go with 450 watt or better...

Im thinking about getting an AMD 4400, a power supply with 600w and kingston hyprex ddr2 ram. Since I dont know anything about my motherboard I guees I'll keep it:roll:

PSU!!! :o Motherboard seems fine if it has 6150, get an X2 and another GB of RAM if you don't want to get a Core 2 Duo with a new mobo.

cheerz dude, so does having vista ultimate improve gaming experienceat all? and would have q6600, x2 8800gt, 2 gig corsair 800 run something like cod4 and crysis on high or very high smoothly?

Im thinking about getting 2gb ddr2vitesta(I know its not a very stable RAM but im almost broke) do I have to have a stronger power supply for my comp to handle the RAM? Im getting a stronger power supply but not right now need more money.

um no, i believe not as each stick equals to 25 watts, and i just read u have a 600watt power supply so no way man ur psu can handle it
