Hello, the question is simple. but pay attention that the music you choose should'nt be licensed.
Now the best music tracks I have heardduring a game:
1.Tristram music in Diablo
2.Gothic 3 musics{all of them}
3.Monkey island famous music

Doom II http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffl2ShaWyGM or Red Alert http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tb-gI_pFog0.
The main title screen music for Evil Genius. Brilliant stuff as it really evokes that 1960's spy theme.

Oh my gosh I forgot how much I loved Doom 2's sound track...thanks for reminding me :)Doom II http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffl2ShaWyGM or Red Alert http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tb-gI_pFog0.
Whiteblade999
For me?
Doom
Morrowind (still actually hum this sometimes, incredibly nerdy, but the music is so good)
Oblivion (I didn't think they would match Morrowind, but they did a terriffic job in doing so)
X3:TC has one song I really like, but some of the quality of the music in that game is really shi**y.
But I guess you asked for music track. I can't really say, but Oh!
MGS was released on PC, right? Then I say "The Best Is Yet to Come"
But I am probably forgetting a ton of great tracks from games with great music.
Moon Patrol. Nothing cooler than a porn soundtrack in a game.

Half Life 2 has brilliant music, so does The Witcher and Mass Effect. I simply love the soundtrack of these.
I really like the battlefield music, the halo music is sweet (mianly halo 3 not a pc game but still class), I quite like the guild wars music too, that's my favourite's of the top of my head.
Battlefield series, Morrowind, Halo, Civilization 4, and the Total War series all have great music for me! :)
Battlefield 1942 intro music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tb8PQXPOkCc There's also the BF2142 rehash http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irWhpYlD6q4 I don't know why, but BF2 had the worst ****ing music ever.Swiftstrike5
The 2142 wake island music is amazing.

I know. Sometimes I wish my computer sucked and it took longer to load the map. Although, I did download the MP3 for it.I really think a good sound track is such an essentiall thing devs should put in a game, I really do love good music for a game.
Half-Life 2. Particularly when you're speeding through the canals in the hoverboat with the Hunter Chopper chasing your tail (and dropping those damn mines). The music for that sequence is just bloody stunning.
FIFA '08: Melody Club - Fever Fever.
Urban Chaos had a track by Photek, but I can't remember if it was a good one or not since the game was so mediocre that I barely played it.
Ultima V-VII, Divine Divinity and Heroes of Might and Magic II has great OSTs.
[QUOTE="TheBigBadGRIM"]The game was bad, but this song was incredible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QVNhrQcz1A&feature=related&fmt=18jimmyjammer69Nice. Like travelling back in time a few years :). I knew a reason would come up to get this game eventually. It's probably worth buying the game now because of the Titan Pack and the the game can probably be found in the bargain bin these days. I'm sure there are still people playing online.

I liked Quake 1's music. Composed and mixed by Trent Reznor. Gave the game a really creepy atmosphere. Quake 1 had a pretty creepy feel to it, and was a more demonic tone similar to Doom. With Quake II the focus of the game completely changed to the Strogg/Alien stuff.
I think the most fun I've ever had with online FPS was Quake 1 and 2. Completely awesome, and back in those days, that was some of the first and best FPS you could play online.
