What was the best music track you have herad during a PC game?

I liked Quake 1's music. Composed and mixed by Trent Reznor. Gave the game a really creepy atmosphere. Quake 1 had a pretty creepy feel to it, and was a more demonic tone similar to Doom. With Quake II the focus of the game completely changed to the Strogg/Alien stuff.

I think the most fun I've ever had with online FPS was Quake 1 and 2. Completely awesome, and back in those days, that was some of the first and best FPS you could play online.

Gothic 3 - Vista scene. That's my favourite. But many other games have good ones, especially the Total War series and Elder Scrolls series.

1. Half Life 2 + ep 1 + ep 2. :Some music that kick in during action sequences are really top notch.

2. Oblivion : The music was simply stunning and adds so much more to the atmosphere of the game.

If that isn't it, it must be something funky with your setup, though I can't imagine why if you can hear sound and music in other games.

I know you said PC, but I just started gaming on PC and nothing I've played so far has topped any of these classics.
