What was the worst pc game you have ever bought (pics,info)

The PC port of Resident Evil 4. Unless someone created a mod or patch, there's no key mapping and the controls are god awful.

SimCity Societies was pretty crappy too.

Now my turn: Well two of the worst games I own I won in a competition and these are Condemned and Oblivion. I haven't even finished Oblivion because there were so many bugs and problems with it. Condemned was horribly repetitive. I didn't like San Andreas very much. I thought it had a lot of gimmicks and didn't really go anywhere in terms of its narrative. A lot of bugs and control issues. I didn't enjoy FEAR - granted I didn't pay that much for it at least - highly repetitive to the point where it becomes just dull. If that game had average AI no one would care less about it.

i didnt said it sucks i am just saying that i try to kill them silenty or bring the m unconscious and it doesnt work so i can say that i didn't even touch it after that :roll: and i know that if i do am gonna suffer the same... but again condemned was a really nice one i like the idea of th game and the paranormal effects and the investigations...but its not repetitive apart from combat, unlike fear that every room feels about the same :) but the endidn and what happened in the sequel really killed the quality, i dont think any of those games suck and i hope you think that too, am just saying either they pissed me off or i didnt play them much...

In my history of buying PC games...it's a mixup between UT3 and Half Life 2. I bought half life 2 hoping it would be freaking awesome...kept me entertained for about an hour then I went back to BF2 and got addicted to CS:S :D. UT3 isnt that bad its just...I could never get into it. But HL2 is bad.

Worst PC game I ever bought? Hmmm, maybe Stronghold 2. I never played Stronghold (if there was one, haha), but Stronghold 2 was terrible. I bought it based on the cover and screens, and the old adage definitely applies here: Don't judge a book by its cover. The voice overs were cheesy, and the game was technically demanding for the time (for no reason). I probably played it a total of 2 hours, those were certainly forced 2hours.

My friend bought a game called Chrome. I think it was actually by Epic. I did not buy it, but he left it at my house and I played it. It was pretty, sure, but damn it was flawed. Worst ragdolls I've seen in a game with ragdolls. But not only that...it wasn't fun. I think a rule of thumb could be this: If it is a first person shooter, and it says "First-Person Shooter" on the side of the box, beware.

I haven't bought a gamer that I didn't at least like whilst originally playing through. In hinsight I find every game I have to be a POS because they are boring (but I have played them over and over).

I cannot accurately answer this question, but I must say FEAR and Mafia are two of the greatest games that exist.

The worst game that I have ever bought for PC, hmm...

I'd have to say "Tradewinds". In this game, you just go around merchanting and killing pirates. Moderately good graphics for its time, but the gameplay is absolutely horrible. The game never ends so you don't even have the feeling of completion.

I don't know what it was. I just couldn't get into HL2. I'm 100% serious about that, not the worst game I've played but definatly not the best. The MP on HL2 wasn't that bad I played it before I got addicted to CS:S. The SP just...sucked imo. UT3 was fun until I kept getting in-valid CD key and then I had to do a full reinstallation of Windows just to get it to accept my CD key. And Warhammer, I truely gave that one a chance. I wanted to like it since WoW got terribad. Got it the week it came out, hooked up with some old WoW friends I played with back during Vanilla WoW. Got to level 13 and quit. The animations still look horrid. Seeing other people look like they are running in 2D is horrible. I probably just sucked at that game but it just wasn't fun enough to make me pay for any more months.

I would say Oblivion tops all these games for worst imo, but once I played through it without cheating it was tons of fun!

there is a not-so-fine line between saying you dont like a game, and saying a game sucks (as Hellboard did).

Now I hate Starcraft. But do I say it sucks? No, it obviously does not...millions played it, and thousands still do to this day. Its also a good game. That is my opinion.

If I had said "Starcraft sucks", that is not only untrue, but offensive to anyone that enjoys the game.

So if he wants to sit there and say he dislikes Thief 3, Mafia, etc thats fine, but the second he says theyre crappy, sucky games is the second he starts insulting people. More importantly, he is wrong in saying they suck because all the games he listed are praised by critics and gamer's.

I don't know exactly if it's the worst game I've ever played but I think it's the buggiest game (I've lately played) ever (even though it was released in 2008!).... And yes! it's a bug!

I know I'm going to ruffle some nostalgic feathers with this one, but here goes: OUT OF THIS WORLD

This game met my definition of SUCK. I bought it right when it came out, mostly because it was lauded for great graphics and gameplay. I found the graphics to be an eyesore and the gameplay was lame (femmy jumping, slowest walk ever). Even after I found a guide to help me not die every few seconds, I just realized that I didn't care.
