Some text-based adventure available on AARNET (the network for Australian universities) Â using a modem that required you to fit the handset into it so it could listen and send ...lol ... this was in 1984. Â Played it on a KayproII: Â http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Kaypro.jpg
First 'true' PC game was Mechwarior in, I think, 1989.
Command and conquer generals...ahhh.that game pretty much changed my life. It wasn't that it was so great, it changed my life because i used to hate computers alot but that game was too good for my computer so i got a new one and i became a computer fan. I learned about Ron Paul on the internet and he changed by life which means Command and Conquer Generals changed my life.

Tekken 3. My sister bought me a PlayStation for my birthday, but i didn't have any games.
So i used it to play music. Afer a while i saw an advert for tekken 3.Â
I really was intrigued, and bought it as soon as it was available ( bout 2 weeks after i saw the advert ).
But Tekken 3 is a PS1 game, not a PC game (although of course there are ways to do that ;) )Tekken 3. My sister bought me a PlayStation for my birthday, but i didn't have any games.

Chip's CHallenge or Tetris (Windows 4.1).
Actually there was this one with the worm eating the apple and the body grew too long and you had to avoid it. I think that was my first game, before we had windows.
