What will we see from Blizzard next gen?

Now this is a question that I have no idea.

A second WoW game is highly unlikely.

Diablo III took about 10 years to produce, so I wouldn't believe in a «IV» on the next year.

Starcraft II still has expansions to launch.

Maybe Warcraft?

(Titan will be released this gen [2013] so, don't go with Titan)

Well Titan the mmo is known. But I really hope they continue Warcraft

It's a projected, supposedly in-house release target, not an actual one.

I want Titan to be what Blizzard promises it to be-that is to do things that haven't been done before.

I don't think Blizzard is going to jump on next-gen for a long time. Titan will be accessible like WoW. It may be a new idea, but the technology will not be next-gen really. Just a different kind of MMO. Starcraft 2 still has 2 expansions to go. Diablo 3 is also planned to have 2 expansions. WoW will keep having expansions until the subs get really low. Blizzard is just going to continue to support these games. Expansions use the same game engine, so all Blizzard's games for a long time will be last-gen stuff. The Starcraft 2 second expansion won't be out until 2016. Diablo 3 second expansion won't be out until 2018. So a few years after 2016 is the earliest we could see a new game from Blizzard. I would like to see Warcraft 4, but that depends on WoW subs declining.

Definitely not a new Diablo or Starcraft. Warcraft IV seems most likely, along with all the expansions and most likely Titan which I wouldn't be surprised if that came out in 2016.

When Starcraft 2 + all expansions / WoW + all expansions are done, the RTS dept. will work on Warcraft 4, maybe? Who knows...

MMO dept. will be busy with Titan and it's expansions...

RPG dept. will most probably be working on Diablo III expansions or be integrated with both RTS/MMO depts.

Don't expect any of this pre-2020.

this. Warcraft 2 is much better than Warcraft 3.

Man.. Warcraft2 and Warcraft1 also, I spent soooo many hours playing that game. Not just the campaign but the level editor thingy to for skirmishes in Warcraft2 was awesome aswell hehe.

Warcraft3 was enjoyable but I didn't get as much enjoyment out of it as I did Warcraft1/2.

Diablo2 (with expansion) and Warcraft2 I think will always be my fav Blizzard games :P

PC has gens? anyway I'd love Warcraft 4 as 3 is my favorite RTS single player wise.

None of the above. Diablo 3 is just coming out this year(maybe) and after Heart of the Swarm comes out for SC2 we still have to wait for Legacy of the Void after that before SC3.Moriarity_

I guess Titan is going to be a next gen *MMO*. I think that's the closest you're going to get for the moment. Depending on how what Titan turns out to be story wise, future games in that franchise could be considered Blizzard's push into next gen. The timing would be right, at least.

It seems likely that we'll get Warcraft 4 eventually, but Blizzard's RTS team is hard at work on the remaining two installments of Starcraft 2, so I doubt we'll see Warcraft 4 before 2016 at the earliest.

Also I doubt Titan will be out in 2014, given how long it generally takes from Blizzard show's off a game for the first time and until it is actually released. But we can always hope, I guess.

They'll make sequels to everything that will make them money, with the addition of always online DRM, cash shops, and maybe each game will be broken up into 4 or 5 full price pieces that will be released in sequence.

Hopefully we will have Titan by around 2030,2040 possibly more. $10 it's 2035.
