What's S.T.A.L.K.E.R. like? Is it a good FPS?

Put it this way - if you love the atmosphere in games, and like to immerse yourself in them, STALKER is a MUST HAVE. It is without a doubt one of the most atmospheric games I have ever played, and I've played quite a few 8)

If you are more interested in multiplayer and the like though, STALKER is not for you. Still a good game though, but it has a rather weak multiplayer compared to others you can name.

i actually like the multiplayer, TDM for the most part with a weapon purchase system

all the servers are in russia so good luck finding a low ping server in the US
