ok so just wondering what is the best now and if anyone has bought 1 recently how would you rate it?
Fasted single card on the market right now is the nVidia GeForce GTX295 followed closely by the GeForce GTX285 and ATi's 4780 X2
GTX 295, then 4870X2. Those are the top two, the GTX295 performs better most of the time, but the 4870X2 will occasionally do a little better depending on the game and drivers.

295 is the fastests currently2x295 is ofcourse faster tho :) ofcourse its meaningless if the rest of the system bottlenecks the gpu, so everythin gotta be ont he same level, top end quad core cpu, etc.
