Does it imply that the game supports DX10, or runs on Vista?

Could someone please explain to me how a "Games for Windows" title is different from any other PC game?

Thanks.

I think it means that microsoft peripheries (such as mics and steering wheels) work on the games.

Just a standard set of requirements games have to meet to be a "Games for Windows" game. It has nothing to do with Vista or DirectX 10 requirement.

Doesn't it mean it's exclusive to PC's with a Microsoft OS?

Yeah, and that brings a certain set of features, such as support for a gamepad, standard.

It's Microsofts way of setting PC gaming up more like console gaming. In order for a game to be considered a "Game For Windows" it must meet a set of requirements (Such as being compatible with Vista and support wide screen are just two of them) someone already posted a link to the full list. Basically if it has Games for Windows on it, it works on Vista though.
