What's the significance of the "Games for Windows" title?

Does it imply that the game supports DX10, or runs on Vista?

Could someone please explain to me how a "Games for Windows" title is different from any other PC game?

Just a standard set of requirements games have to meet to be a "Games for Windows" game. It has nothing to do with Vista or DirectX 10 requirement.
