What game(s) are your favorite Xbox 360 ports? I'm not usually a fan of games ported from consoles, but it's difficult to get away from in this era.

I only recently bought Mass Effect and ME2. I'm completely hooked. I may be enjoying these more than the Half-life games, which were my all-time favorite games. It's a toss-up. I just love the character development, the setting, the story, varied environments, relationships, etc.. that the Mass Effect games have. They're something special.

I'm not sure if this would be considered a port, or just a multiple-platform release.. but I also loved Bad Company 2.

The original Mass Effect was released on consoles in late 2007, and not on PC until mid 2008, so that was clearly a port. ME2 was released in January of 2010 for PC and 360. It uses the same engine as the first game, and is clearly set up with a controller in mind. I still call it a port due to the gameplay mechanics.

"This is an Outrage ":)

On a more serious note they are a inevitable thing, but there is nothing good about them on PC.

Probably Resident Evil 5, now there's a port done right. I also loved Assassin's creed 2.

That's because a ton of games released on the PC nowadays are ported from current-gen consoles. Most of them were clearly designed with the consoles in mind.

It's NOT a port. Resident Evil 5 uses the MT Framwork engine. Look it up. They originally start off as PC games, then they are ported to consoles.

I dont know, most games ported are just trash. Actual multiplat games can be good though.

ubisoft did it? that's even worse, they have actually made PC games before, you'd think they'd realize that we play games with a mouse
