I believe it was in 95 playing Doom 2. Slowly started playing more and more pc games. I've always been a mix between a PC and Console gamer, but I've always had a thing for PC.
I started in 1996 when I was 3. My first games were Commander Keen and all things Apogee. I had this disk loaded with freeware and shareware "House of Games". Anyone else have that red disk that you booted from BIOS? lol
I loved those games when I was little XD. Same topic-ish, anyone remember Living Books??I started playing hardcore stuff like reader rabbit math grades 1st till 2nd grade.

It was November of 1998. I had just gotten done school and my Dad told me we had somethign new at home. After many guesses he ended up just telling me what it was: A PC. It has been a very fun 10 years+.
I'm pretty sure I started "gaming" with Lode Runner (The Legend Returns) on the family Windows 3.1. ..Yeaaaah.
I played a bunch of crap all the way up to about 2000... the Maxis Sim games (the true SIMULATION games, not THE SIMS) like Sim Safari. Or Sim Tower. But I was never raised on Doom and Wolfenstein, and while everyone was playing CS in the third grade, I was busy with Starcraft. With a weakening Dell computer that currently runs Half Life 2 at 7-14 FPS, if I'm lucky, I turned to the PS1. Followed by the Xbox when I had my first taste of Halo. I played GoldenEye with my friends, but I never got used to the N64 control scheme so I didn't care for console shooters all that much. 2006 rolls around and I decide to pick up a 360 with dreams of Halo 3 and Mass Effect. After that, realising a plan to get XBL up and running was more or less futile... and the need to experience Company of Heroes, I decided to pretty much cut support to my 360 and get myself a new PC. This was summer of last year.
"Gamed" on PC as a child, went through a 5-6 year hiatus. Back on PC for good now.
In 1995 when I was 5 years old. My Dad bought DOOM 1 for PC and he let me play it. I've been playing PC games ever since :P
