I just installed the 64-bit version of Vista and would like to know where can I find a list of 64-bit games. Far Cry is the only game I know of off the top of my head that has a 64-bit patch.

I installed vista x64 the other day. Works great for C&C 3, but slideshow performance on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. .
All my drivers appear to working fine, and I would not discourage someone from installing 64 bit vista over 32 bit.Â
The only 64 bit problem I have noticed is that some older TV tuner cards of mine didn't have supported drivers in x64 and were supported by the x86 version of Vista.

64-bit does help with smoother framerates and whatnot if the software was made to take advantage of it right?
Eep, now that I think about it, I hope I'm not confusing 64-bit support with mult-threaded support. That brings up another question... are there any games that take advantage of multi-core processors? I think Supreme Commander does. Are there any developers crazy enough to have offered both 64-bit and multi-core support in any of their games?

Not really. You might be looking at a + or - 1% performance difference, but chances are that if you are upgrading to a 64-bit proccessor, it was going to be of a faster speed than your older one. 64-bit proccessors just allow efficient use of 64-bit numbers - which most games never use since that kind of precision isnt needed.Â

All games (even those a decade old) have multithreading support to some extent, so you'll get some kind of benefit from a multicore processor. Quake 1 uses something like 6 or 7 threads, but 90% of the work falls on just 1 of those.
Fortunately most games released since late 2005 have been better at using extra cores more efficiently. FEAR, Half Life 2, STALKER, Company of Heroes, etc. Supreme Commander has done it the best, but its harder to find a recent game that doesnt use multithreading decently than a game that does.
There will not be any real 64-bit games for YEARS!! There will not be any real 64-bit apps for years save a few hardcore integer apps that 99.999% of the world will not want or use. 64 bit Vista is laughable because there will not even be 64-bit apps or games when Vienna is obsolete.
