1. Sim City 4
2. Age of Empires 2
3. Diablo II
Don't take this to mean that i like older games. Just what style of games i generally like to play.
[QUOTE="DraugenCP"]"Stalker - no, not literally." That was good, lulz.1. Stalker - no, not literally
2. Cryostasis
3. ArmA II
All three show that I heavily prefer European games, prefer depth and content over refinedness and optimisation, and that I'm a narcissistic PC snob.

Oh this is a tough one..hmmm...
Medieval Total War - RTS, TBS, and the middle ages! (Anybody play Castles 2: Siege and Conquest? :D )
X3 - Sandbox and Sci Fi Adventures!
Sims 2 - Sandbox, Mods, RPG and building :)
1. The Legend of Zelda (more specifically Ocarina of Time).
2. Mass Effect
3. Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri
Gears of War - competitive side..
Oblivion - prefer western RPGs..
Little Big Planet series - Not all my games are violent..
- Battlefield 2 - Online shooter with plenty of variety and without out things like killcams, "quick-knifing" or even regenerating health.
- STALKER - Shooter / adventure game with light rpg elements, open-but-small world, life system with base damage, bleeding, and different ways to take damage. Set up to support users that want to alter the game to their own liking.
- Demon's Souls - Action / adventure game with light rpg elements. Action is interesting rather than clicking a button as fast a possible.
By 'light' rpg elements, I mean that they're present, but I (personally) find them very manageable. I like games like Oblivion, but I often find the size of the world and the amount of items overwhelming :(
3 games is a bit too less, but I'll give it a whirl nonetheless.
1 - Half-Life 2 + Episodes
2 - Splinter Cell Series
3 - Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams
1)Planescape Torment: I love personal story based games and this one is everything that represents that idea through the world, writing and characters.
2)Heroes of Newerth: Lone-wolf games got boring after Quake fell out of style. Team based synergy in Heroes of Newerth defines my preference for multiplayer games now.
3)Gothic 2: Exploring worlds is one of my favorite things to do in a game. Gothic 2 is THE game that rewards you majorly for exploring.
+1 Planescape: Torment. Good man.1)Planescape Torment: I love personal story based games and this one is everything that represents that idea through the world, writing and characters.

1. Deus Ex
2. Independence War 2
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand...
hmmmm...
3. Homeworld
Yup, complex FPS hybrids, space sims, and innovative RTSs describe me. And, as with the above three, solid stories are a must
Its really tough here..Been gaming since he 70s lol
!) diablo series its been my fav for many years..
2)simcity series wish maxis would stop messing around with bad games..Newest flop is darkspore..Ive tried evey sim builder out there..Stll nothing like the sim series..Many of us agree..
3)rpgs cant put my finger on just one game..There are just to many ive enjoyed through the years...You can go with baldurs gate, the witcher, the gold box series, the ultimate series, many many more ive enjoyed over the years
4)stradegy games..Sorry cant just give you three..Games like company of heroes, might and magic, starcraft, world of conflict, cnc, there just so many
5) im giving you five because im me..Sims series...Even though my wife plays the game and makes me build the houses..Ive come to enjoy the game for what it is.Im not in shock at all that most people are saying sims 2 is a better game because it is..Sims 3 is just missing some thing that sims 2 had..Cant quit put my finger on it..Maybe generations will bring the game back to its core roots..With thememory system who knows..
Good post btw ...Shouldnt have limited it to just one though..Change the topic next time..Youl see a more variety of answeres on this forum..Can name many more myself lol..
Hehehe yeah. It's tough to nail it down to three. That's probably why I chose to make it three to push people to really decide which 3 games (if they must choose) define them best as a gamer. I know, it sucks. I'm evil. :PIts really tough here..Been gaming since he 70s lol

1. Wizardry/Ultima/Gothic/Diablo2 rpg series (RPG)
2. Dune2/Total War series/Age of Empire (Strategy)
3. Zork series/Police Quest (Adventure/Click)
Main thing would definatly be the first one I listed... RPGS in general I just LOVE, so I listed some of the early ones I enjoyed.
