Meh, in my exp. source has been full of noobs and smacktards. Go for 1.6/CZ, condtion zero has the best players/least hackers, if you deside to get it here are some IP's for possibly the best servers of all time:

Oh and if you want to fail then here is the only good source server

I disagree. i think 1.6 has the most hackers because it has the most glitches out of all the counter strikes. Almost everyone takes advantage of these glitches which makes it very unrealistic, and as realism is an important part in tactical, squad based games, source has my vote. Plus its very difficult to use cheats on steam due to its extreme tollerance. The only thing you can really take advantage of is glitches...

I've played all CS, but the best remains 1.6. Source isn't fun for me, something about the whole engine, it's not that same as 1.6. I only play Source for Zombie Mod
