Support it or are optimized for it? If by support, then %100 of every upcoming game. If optimized, then just a tiny handful not worth mentioning.
Game applications do not run any faster in 64-bit than they do in 32-bit. The handful of advantages 64-bit brings for gaming at this point are too little to bother, which is why few games have a 64-bit version.
Those programs that receive large boosts in performance from a 64-bit version were mostly because they were constrained in memory or 32-bit length computations. Almost no game passes 2GB of system memory + 2 GB of video memory. And no game has ever truly needed 64-bit precision numbers.
Yes, 64-bit isn't really faster except in some circumstances... The main reason to go 64-bit is the memory issue... There are games that can exceed 1GB in process size.... Its not hard to imagine that the 2GB process size will be an issue soon. Probably 2-3 years at most.
Im surprised at those answers, I know Crysis certainly gets a boost in 64 bit vista on my machine.TerroRizing
What these guys didn't mention is that some games can support 64-bit addressing to memory. ie. More memory can be accessed at once then 32-bit addressing.

I guess that makes sense, I have 4 gigs of ram in my pc. I would say I gained about 5fps in the 64 bit os and the pop-in has pretty much vanished. Anybody have any game saves using the 64 bit version? I was near the end with he 32 bit version before I switched.

I have Vista x64 with 6GB of memory and my system tends to use crazy amounts of memory.

How much, and how much does it improve performance?
