Left 4 Dead has bots, so that could count as single player.

Yea Far Cry 2 imo. Left for Dead should do well too, just worried it'll become very boring in very little time. Playing with friends against other people in MP never gets old, but playing against bots is pretty boring. BeavermanA

agreed, it has left 4 dead has the potential to get boring quick, as well as the potential to not get boring quick.

Far Cry 2 ISN'T the best. It could possibley be the best, but it ISNT at the moment due to the fact it isn't out.

And even when it is out I highly doubt it'll be 'The Best' since so many people are overhyping it. Ubisoft are not good at making Free Roaming games, Assassin's Creed proved this. Ubisoft always think "Rawr, if we make this game a sandbox then peopelz will loves it!" and they forget that a sandbox is no fun Unless there are TOYS IN THE SANDBOX TO PLAY WITH.

Okay, it's a slightly unfair comparison since it's different parts of Ubisoft making the game. But still.

Im not saying the game will suck. I'm just saying people shouldn't hype it so much. Yes, it looks GREAT from the trailers and gameplay footage that have been released, the AI looks a bit dodgey at times, but other than that it looks like a brilliant FPS.

But Ubisoft knows how to, as Mr. Terry Pratchett put it so well in "Going Postal", make Glass look like a Diamond to the unsuspecting eye. Because you WANT it to be a Diamond. You want to believe that Ubisoft can make a game that is brilliant despite their steady decline in quality over the years.

I originally said Crysis Warhead looked like the best game out of these, but I'm actually getting more excited for Left 4 Dead as time passes.

Assassin's Creed was decent. Not Amazing. There was no real reason for it to be so sandboxy, they should have made it slightly more linear imo, and the combat just plain sucked.

The original Far Cry was a pretty good game, but Far Cry 2 Isn't Actually A Far Cry Game. It's not made by the same people and it continues NOTHING from the previous game as far as we know.

So far it looks great, because all Ubisoft games look great before they are released. And knowing Ubisoft, they will do everything they can to make sure everyone thinks it looks like the greatest game ever pre-release and then buy a few good reviews post-release.

And yes, everyone has an opinion. But here's the thing. Your Opinion is not valid unless you can back it up.
