[QUOTE="Poster_11"]Korea + Starcraft = win lolkillax3563
maple story is also HUGE in asia.
Pong on cellphones is even bigger though... or so I hear.[QUOTE="sSubZerOo"]While we are at it, lets estimate the amount of skittles in existance.smokeydabear076100 million skittles currently exist. PC gaming is doomed because of it.
Dude idk what about that guy that turns anything he touchs with his hands to skittles.

Hmmm... good point, I forgot about him. 1049.2349234029 million skittles exist.yes but there's many more cell phones than pc's. especially in countris like china or india. most of those people don't even have 'landlines'. i wouldn't be surpricsed if cellphonese in some countries outnumber pc's by 2x or 3x.
and compared to gaming pcs (strng enought to run $50 games), the ratio si probably closer to 8x or 10x, just a guess but a loooooooot more people have cell phones vs gaming pc's.

i doubt a "lot" of people in india and china (compared to the massive populations) have mobile phones to be honest i would imagine thats quite an expensive item to have (relatively). and south korea, another asian country, PC gaming is absolutely huge as an example.
and out of all the gamers i know, not one plays mobile games because they pale in comparison to actual computer/video games, and out of all the non-gamers i know not one has ever paid to buy and download a mobile game. and you mention that not all PC's can play the latest games, but you dont mention that out of all the billions of mobile phones how many can play the latest games? my mobile cant play all of them and its only 2 years old. a lot of people who have mobiles dont even know how to send text messages and use their phone book, let alone download games.

wow, how ignorant. korea is NOT a large asian country. its population is only about 60 million.
india- about 1 billion, china 1.3 billion.
very ignorant.

before you call people ignorant please read what they wrote more carefully - i didnt say korea was a large asian country, i said "another asian country". meaning it is a country and its in asia. pc gaming is very popular in that country. not once did i say the country was comparable in size to china or india.
Yay 3 page's of feeding the troll, wtg!
Pessu
:D
but seriously, does ANYONE play 'Golf Tour' on the Nokia 6230i? - i love that game - after some 800 rounds played on it i can boast the following stats:
- i once got a hole in one on the 14th (303 yards)
- my best score is 67 (5 under)
- i put away a putt from 41 yards
For this reason i will NEVER replace my phone - i've 4 chargers + car charger, three batteries and intend to run it until it falls apart in my hand
PS - thinking about it, this should probably have gone under the 'Hidden pleasures' thread ...
in terms of software sold, in dollars. probably pc but is cell phone catching up?killax3563
Really are clueless and a bad troll.
lets clarify your question a bit!
when you talk about gaming on cell phones, i guess your real question is " will gaming using ARM architecture based processor`s catch up with x86 based systems, based purely on Game software sales? "
i also hope you would have already taken into account all the shareware , freeware, web based and java games on the pc also?
probably not as your a bad little troll!
so lets look at this shall we the Processors you have defined, these are 16/32 bit processors about as powerfull as an old 286 pc and are also used in PDA`s , Automotive breaking systems and Calculators.
so gives you and idea how much PCs have to fear over performace.
In conclusion before i go any further you dont have a clue what your saying or what your on about.
so to be honest you have been OWNED!!!
