Not including the Sony, which of those 3 laptops would be the best for gaming? I saw the Asus at BB and it was pretty nice. But the Samsung is cheaper and might have better specs than the Toshiba and Asus. Also, how well would the laptop run games, and could it run a game like Crysis?

That is a good laptop. But there are 2 votes for the Asus. How would they compare? I actually saw the Asus and it was a pretty nice looking laptop. And it was fast.

Core 2 Duo architecture is now quite old, if it were me I'd go for the other one posted in this thread from newegg; as others noted it's a bargain. If you're dead set on one of the three you originally specified I think the Samsung is the best of the bunch, i5 + 330M is a pretty decent combo.

the problem with the Asus laptop is that it has terrible battery and laptops are meant for portability ;). Asus does make excellent laptops though and they have the best warranties right out of the box. The only thing is I don't think most of their laptops come with a larger 8 or 9 cell battery which would give you much better battery life than a 6-cell battery that usually comes standard. Also, I've heard mixed opinions and reviews of sony laptops so I wouldn't highly recommend going with sony.

Asus tends to make some of the best gaming laptops at affordable prices.
