Hey guys,

I'm wondering which system my friend should purchase, it's not a top of the line system but he just wants to play todays modern games without upgrading for few years.

If i absolutely had to pick one of them, i'd go with i7 2600k, and thats mainly just because it's not an HP. I'd still any day recommend building it yourself

thats a crazy amount, it would be alot cheaper if he built it, or bought a prebuilt from a site like tigerdirect or newegg but hey thats his decision. I agree with the comments above me

None of them, that's just dumb... 6770 for 1100$+? And those cases don't look like they have good ventilation, gonna be loud with all the fans maxing out just to barely keep the computer from overheating...

If I had to pick one, I'd go with the 3rd. Though you should just build a better one for cheaper.

I recently spent 1200 on upgrading my PC, which resulted in 2 HD6970s in Crossfire.

You'll be paying the same amount for one with a HD6770 :(

None of them. The only reason to buy a pre built pc, is if you have no attention of upgrading and are to lazy to build one

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=401989&CatId=333This is a much better deal, he will need to buy a monitor, the operating system and a better video card but in the end he will save money
