i am definitely getting FC2 as soon as it comes out. 8) The original FC was one of my favorite games. Crysis was simply not as much fun.

My only fear is that my poor old 8800GT (512MB) cannot run this at 1920x1200 with all the settings turned up. I may have to upgrade to a 4870 or GTX280. :?

Far Cry 2 is my most anticipated shooter this year, by far.

Hell, I probably wont pick it up for a few months/years. It looks rather dull, AI looks suckish, animation looks bleh and from what I've seen (from various gameplay videos I admit, so this one could be wrong) the open world looks REALLLLY empty.

But hey, it could still be good I guess.

I notice that as well during videos of the game, sad really....sometime they are good and other times they look bad..but I still can't wait for the game in general..

Almost every game is like that, except F.E.A.R. and to a much lesser extent Halo. Unless im missing something, I pretty much shoot dumb ai baddies in every fps I play.

enemies in crysis take cover; so do those in riddick, nolf 2, and stalker. and most games at least have the enemies move side to side, like they do in quake 4. they don't just stand there, taking shots, like they do so often in far cry 2 videos. you should try these games, which i'm assuming you haven't, since you can't think of any games except f.e.a.r. in which enemies take cover when shot at.

I cant wait, unfortunatly on thursday i have to go out of town for some docters stuff for the weekend.

Probably get in some gaming on wednesday night and then not till sunday. But yeah this game should be fun, hold me over till Left4Dead and Gears of War 2.
