A friend and I have been playing SWAT 4, coop and it's absolutely fantastic! Tons of replay value and overall outstanding gameplay. A shame that SWAT 4 (to my knowledge) was the last in the series. Would anyone else buy another SWAT game?

Why would I mind? It's a pretty good game and a "proper" reboot would be welcomed. (:Elann2008Exactly, I would have high standards for it. Too bad Sierra Ent. shut down. So is the license for it fair game for any dev or something?
SWAT 4 has some of the best co-op of any game I've seen. I'd definitely like to see another installment, or at least another game that has strategic co-op with unforgiving missions.
It truly does have some of the best coop for a game. It my friend and I almost an hour to finish one mission. I like how you can complete the mission anyway you want, no limits.SWAT 4 has some of the best co-op of any game I've seen. No, no, NO! The reboot would be a Call of Duty clone and kill what made the originals so great.

Not if Irrational did it, which the only way I'd want another SWAT game.
Check the sig. :)I actually have Swat 4 coming in the mail. None of my friends have it, so if someone wants to play sometime add me on steam and we could set something up.

Well put it this way if they released a swat 5 or had a reboot. I would so pre order it. Did i mention that I never pre order anygame? Ever. But that would so force me into it.
its great too, plays pretty much exactly the same but the graphics are a bit more dated and you can't see your gun like the original ghost recon or rainbow six.is swat 3 good aswell, i have been meaning to try these. :)

Since Activision own the franchise, I don't want a sequel or a reboot. Just the idea of transforming this tactical shooter into a duck hunt is making me sick :(. Like it did for Rainbow Six franchise. Maybe a good pc dev could reboot the idea and start a new franchise?

Because Activision was the parent company of Sierra. It still hold the brand and the franchises.

I would love another one. I don't enjoy coop but SWAT 4 was a fantastic game without coop in my opinion.
