Hey whatsup guys. I had a question...Am I the only one who does not enjoy Call Of Duty 4? Ive owned the game since it came out pretty much. The SP was pretty cool..But personally I do not understand the hype with the Multiplayer. The only GOOD MP ive played from the Call of duty series is Call of duty United offensive. I see that COD5 multiplayer is somewhat like UO's. Maybe its the fact that no one uses teamwork in Cod4? I dont really understand it, I also find that it gets repetative and boring. Im not bashing the game at all. Am I the only one who doesen't really like Call of duty 4? Id say if the maps were bigger, more teamwork was involved and differnt game types it would be better?
I still love it. I found a couple of servers, where without teamwork, you get kicked fast. Also I started using different weapons than before (namely sniper rifles) and so I rekindled by interest in the multiplayer.
 Also COD World at War is more closer to COD4 than COD1/UO. The same perk system is back and so are many of the game play modes.
I havn't liked the series since the second came out. It lost what I liked about it there. The mp of 4 makes me annoyed. Just a giant frag fest. Plus the annoying spawn patterns ruin it even more. It's bizzare. I loved the first and its expansion. I would have never of thought one day I would hate the series. Oh well there are plenty of better mp games out there for me to play.
The MP is awesome. You actually have an incentive to play since you can unlock new weapons and perks. biggest_loser
You could do that in Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 too. So that wasnt anything special i think, and the single player was the same call of duty as the first game. Shoot respawning badguys until you cross the magic line.
I didn't enjoy it that much. Definitely was NOT a $60 game. The SP lasted me 5 hours and the MP maybe lasted me 4. Call of Duty 1 was the best in the series and they should have stopped at 2.

I wish I enjoyed the MP that much. It was the main reason I bought the game and I simply felt like I experienced everything there was to offer after the first few hours. Doesn't help that when I played, I won nearly every game I joined. I'm sure players are better by now, but I can't be arsed to check. :P
Pretty overrated, especially for a guy like me who enjoys lengthy, high-quality SP campaigns and/or good singleplayer lasting value.... neither of which the game had.
I was very unsatisfied with the single player game. It just felt like I could stand of in the distance and the game would play itself, eventually my guys would kill the enemy while I watch. I felt led by the hand way too much. It give me a whole new meaning to a shooter on rails. Also, firing all the guns in the game was a similar experience to firing a paintball gun; very unsatisfying. Never played multi, I have absolutely no motivation to.
I am a huge fan of CoD series games but CoD4 just doesn't have the same magic as CoD/UO had. I know online games will always have people that cheat but it is really really bad in CoD4. I enjoy the game for what it is and will keep on enjoying it. I would enjoy it more if the game would be slowed down and more tactical online.
