I have been looking into SCAN computers lately (UK). I havent heard a bad review of their machines yet and they use the best quality components. Plus, read their forums as their customer service team actually contribute to these and offer really helpful advise. Plus they will configure your pc however u want, including partitions/o/c bios settings etc. The prices seem reasonable as well.
For example: 3.8 ghz o/c i7 920 with o/c gtx 285 SLI plus 6Gb RAM plus fatality champion sound card plus 2Tb hard drive and just £2000. I think that is very reasonable.
2,000 pound ? for that nope not really resonable : if it was 1350-1500 pound yeah it would beYou may have to look at ram Quality& the speedit as& The Brand : if it 9-9-9-29 (cheapest CAS 9 VS CAS 7 or The Very Best cas & mhz such as Mushkin may offer at 7-6-7-18 instead of 7-7-7-20 for a little bit faster Also into the psu they put : the Soundcard is not so great compare to Auzentech X-fi prelude which you could have in the setup at the price you noted
2TB = 150-200pound / Cpu = 200-400 pound / cpu heatsink airflow : 50-70 pound max
Case : 50-200 pound / ram from 100-300 pound 6Gb to 12GB / soundcard 100-150 pound
Psu 100-250 pound / mobo : 100-500 pound
or all in deal : ram / cpu / mobo / cpu heatsink for 450-500pound (economic but not alway the Very best Hardware Example

Firstly, building your own PC is SO much cheaper and a HELL of a lot easier than you might think.
But Falcon Northwest does some REALLY awesome pre-builds. If you've got extreme loads of cash lying around...well, spend it here.
I've said it before, and i'll say it again. Build your own. You get more bang for your buck.Deadly_Fatalis
I concur with him 100%. I have always enjoyed building systems for myself(as well as others). You'll save a ton of cash and have the gratification of doing it yourself.
I've heard horror stories about ibuypower and cyberpower prebuilts, to name a very important 1 for example was from a user saying that a pc bought from ibuypower did not even have the OS installed properly it came corrupted :S
So my advice to anymore serious about PC's, games, or just want enough bang for buck, build a PC yourself, have it saved in your shopping cart online, uk i recommend www.overclockers.co.uk, usa www.newegg.com, then ask us here at gamespot hardware forums, because we're here to help you get the most out of what you want to do, and have it all at a cheaper price than prebuilders, because think about it this way prebuilders want money from you to build it, add modifications, charge for upgrades which you can buy yourself, fit yourself, and as another poster said self gratification!
In short who makes the best prebuilt PC's? WE DO as people We do!
