Get it for one of the consoles if you want it that badly.I Dont Know why Rockstar are not releasing Red dead redemption In PC??????

Already have it on PS3 so I wouldn't buy it again just because it came out on PC. Great game, but I thought it was a little overrated and I have no confidence in Rockstar after I played GTA IV on PC
Not really interested in "cowboy" games and with Rockstars history of extremely poor ports on the PC means I would avoid it like the plague anyway. However if you want to play RDR or any of Rockstars past, present or future catalogue then you are probably best purchasing a console. It is pretty clear Rockstar are no longer interested in developing for the PC now (not that they were that bothered before).
It wouldn't bother me if it came to the PC but I wouldn't buy it either. I have zero interest in the game. It wouldn't even be a Steam sale purchase.
Because Rockstar is made up of several studios. I think Rockstar North was the one that hired the pc devs last year and Vancouver and Toronto are busy with Max Payne.I Dont Know why Rockstar are not releasing Red dead redemption In PC??????

I don't mind that it's not on PC. It gave me a reason to actually dust off my PS3. Now if I can only find a few more games that are worth playing on my PS3 I may actually get over the regret of buying one.
I'd love to see it for PC.
The game intersts me, but I'm not spending $300 on a console just to play 1 game. Plus console graphics suck.
On the PC you'd have a much better game anyway. No pop-up, smooth 60+ FPS, larger view distances, better textures, and we'd probably get all the DLC for free.
Get on it Rockstar! I've got money to throw at you!
Yeah me 2 game would shot up very high on my to by list if it was ported to pc.I'd love to see it for PC.

None of those things makes for a better game. Better graphics maybe.I'd love to see it for PC.

[QUOTE="Kinthalis"]None of those things makes for a better game. Better graphics maybe. Yes, it does...Trust me. From having played RDR on PS3, the game would be a million times better on PC. The aiming is horrible with a controller in that game, the auto-aim is the worst I've seen. It takes all the fun out of combat . 60 FPS helps for the gameplay to be smother, and higher draw distances help immersion. Besides the obvious facts he mentioned the engine is also very moddable ( GTA IV) It would result in a MUCH MUCH better game on PC.I'd love to see it for PC.

Says you.
I consider immersion part of the gameplay experience. Terrain popping up out of the eather 5 feet from my character and blurry, pixelated low rez textures, low resolution frames with eye gouging aliasing everywhere is NOT my idea of immersive visuals.
Might be yours, and then, hey more power to you. But it's not mine. A rich visual exprience improves immersion and therefore improves the game for me.
Add to that 60+ FPS which can help improve GUI and gameplay mechanic function smoother and you've got yourself the complete package.

I have it for console, but I would love to see it on PC, the possibility for mods could be huge in RDR, same with the increased graphics.
But just if people could add a few more little things to do or missions it would be even better.
- Mods
- Better graphics
- Better FPS
- More options for controls (any controller you want or k+m)
That would be alot of fun

I already have it on 360, looks great for a console game, I dont see a need to buy it for pc for a small graphic upgrade.
I would love it on pc if done right, I mean a version of this game that runs at a decent framerate and can be controlled properly would be epic. Most pc versions are much better than the console versin by a huge margin, but I suppose rockstar could screw it up...
the framerate and controls are seriously lacking on console.I already have it on 360, looks great for a console game, I dont see a need to buy it for pc for a small graphic upgrade.

If they do port it they should do a proper pc port
good optimization
The Bully and GTA IV were horrible at this
Improved visuals
although GTA IV supported graphical features not present in the console version, it barely made the game look better and it killed the fps. I'm thinking much higher res textures because the increased memory of the PC.
Tweaked animations
GTA IV was clunky with a controller and it was even more clunky with the WASD keys. Turning should be fast and responsive (no more running in a circle when you press W then S) or hell copy Mafia 2's movement.
dx11 support
not asking for tess or some other dx10/11 specific feature, I just want to see increased optimization and the ablity to adjust AA levels
Fix the cover system
Right click = pop out of cover to aim
NO GFWL
I hate it, stop using it
Dedicated servers with a server browser that support mods
I would like it if free mode had like a 40 player cap (only in free mode) with a higher level of pedestrians, that would be coooooooooooooooool.
Apex clothing on the main character
... !
I loved RDR on the PS3 and I would pay like $40 for it again on the PC if all of the above were met.

Wishful thinking
Don't get why so many people whine about GFWL. Works fine for me and my friends. I've never had a problem with it. My guess it's mainly pirates that complain about it. Anyways, I'd pre-order RDR in a heartbeat if it were announced for PC. Better graphics, better load times, better frame rate, sometimes better sound, mods, etc. Too bad LA Noire isn't coming out on PC either. Game looks schweet....MatrixPirates don't care, no drm lasts more than a couple days anyway. GFWL is just MS' crappy attempt at Steam.
My guess it's mainly pirates that complain about it.Matrix
Your guess would be wrong then because pirates disable GFWL from the game. If you don't understand why people have a problem with GFWL then that is fair enough, but please don't try and start with "oh it is only pirates that complain". It isn't pirates that are complaining it is legitimate customers that are complaining, pirates don't have to deal with GFWL at all.
Overrated game, Controls and gameplay were designed for consoles, heavy heavy auto aim, auto lock and bullet time, bullet time target painting. Not sure how enjoyable that would be on a mouse
Small graphic update really? The graphics would be vastly better, especially with this having a large play area. I have it on the PS3, but would love to see it on PC. Just for the mods alone!I already have it on 360, looks great for a console game, I dont see a need to buy it for pc for a small graphic upgrade.

I really liked RDR, but it's definitely designed for consoles. The game is frustrating without auto-aim/auto-lock... Like for example riding horseback, and trying to aim at bandits with horses that run faster than a Ferrari. And I hate auto-aim.Overrated game, Controls and gameplay were designed for consoles, heavy heavy auto aim, auto lock and bullet time, bullet time target painting. Just for the mods alone! Usually I would say it would get a huge graphic update gojng to pc, but the way things have been going I expect a direct port with better AA. Like some else said already the game was designed for console controls, dont see how this game would be better with Kb/MI already have it on 360, looks great for a console game, I dont see a need to buy it for pc for a small graphic upgrade.

gtaiv looks much much better on pc, but the streaming engine can cause framerates to be inconsistent on any random settings since its not coded properly. Still, consoles were like 15-25 fps at all times for gtaiv and not many complained. If they do port it they should do a proper pc port
