really? EA published Crysis, as close to a work of art as we're going to get. They published Left 4 Dead, and you'd have to be ABSOLUTELY INSANE not to agree that the game is at least worth trying out, if not obsessing over.
They published Mirror's Edge (which was great) and the Battlefield series! Sure, they've had a LOT of bad games, and they treat PC gamers like monkey turds, but that doesn't change the quality of the actual game!! I understand if it's out of protest, but keep in mind that playing amazing games WITH DRM is a lot better than playing no games at all.
Oh, and saying they destroyed this generation of games is **** By giving us L4D and some other gems (when they publish only) they've actually made it that much better, even though i absolutely f'ing DESPISE DRM!
To get back on topic, I'm DEFINITELY looking forward to Dragon Age. At first, it was sort of "meh" but I read a few really good previews and now I'm seriously looking forward to it. Is there a release date set?

I don't think anyone should blame EA for this. If their hundreds of Sims Expansions sell tons more than games like Mirror's Edge ofcourse they will think twice before trying anything new. In the end it's all the gamers fault , the only thing you can really blame them for is DRM. I'm still hoping they use the same method as Stardock although it seems very unlikely with their partnership with steam.
I have high hopes for Dragon age, but I must admit that mass effect left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
I like how they take a darker, more mature view on the Dragon age game, and I really hope they can carry it through.
I have been slightly dissapointed in the last 2-3 bioware games, but I really hope this will mark a return to the days of old.
If they focus too much on action I doubt I till like it, which was a dealbreaker for me in mass effect, which had a general lack of options in combat in exchange for a streamlined 3rd person combat thingie.
If it however does what is promised, then it might be decent at least
