why all the hate for crysis?

Eh, to me the game was nothing special just shiny

and you must really be enjoying it if you stoped playing to make this post.

where is that "all the hate"?

what exactly do Crysis fanboys want? every single gamer knees down to it?

check every Crysis related thread, every one negative post would have ten postive counter posts.

But I think the graphics and motion blur do a lot for it; not sure if it would be as fun on low settingsmachine_B

It is, I've played 4 times on a machine that was below minimum.

No hate here. I just beat Warhead last night and got to watch the credits roll.

Runescape, now that is another story. :)

A better question is why do you care as long as you enjoy it? There are always people who don't like a certain game. Crysis was hated mostly because of the performance people's computers would get playing it. Some didin't like the aliens. Some are just never enjoying games anymore.Papitar

I am not Crysis hater, id gladly play another one but best fps? in any case all the people who don't like it in reviews speak about bad or mediocre game play i think thats the problem but its a great game, the rating? i change it in an argument in system wars i ll set it back to 9.. i finished it 6 times, as for final fantasy.. well when i joined gs i wanted to choose an avatar and since FF7 was my favorite game on pc i wanted to choose Cloud as avatar but have you seen the gs final fantasy avatars? so i picked one for Google, as for very poor grammar, no sir i don't think so.. I am from Russia i dont speak English every day i kinda forgot some stuff.

It's certainly one of the better FPS's I've played in recent years, although that isn't saying too much since it feels as if each FPS is a clone of another at times. Obviously you can't talk about Crysis without making mention of the graphics, but even playing the game on medium settings is still a blast.

It's a great game. But the last two bosses blow. Warhead is better :)

ive played too many games these past few years which everyone seemed to adore and i must say most of them didnt last long. than i finally get my hands on crysis ive played about 1 hr of it only and i must say already i can tell ill be replaying this baby. its hard to explain how fantastic it is! flimflammers200

Firstly, crysis is an exact copy of Far Cry.

Second, the AI, as usual, and as in far cry, is a joke:

Third, the core gameplay - stealth in the jungle - is broken, since NPCs can see through rocks, trees and bushes. I guess their x-ray vision goes nicely with their autoaim.

Also, the combat reminds me of a mixture of gunman chronicles and MOH on PSone. Meaning the combat feels 10 years old

Awesome graphics, top notch gameplay, amazing presentation and a fun factor that is VERY HIGH!

Only thing that coulda been improved imo was the story.

Story is my favorite part of games, but when a game like Crysis does everything besides story so well, i can over look a average story.
