Why am I max rank on Rainbow Six Vegas?

I purchased Rainbow Six Vegas during the weekend and for some reason I am Elite rank and everything is unlocked. Why would it randomly do this?

I dont think anyone plays the first Rainbow Vegas online anymore. You can usualy still find players online for Vegas 2 but even it is dying.
