why do 360 players get free maps all the time?

is that a joke?

go to filefront...and look up maps for any game you want....take C&C3 for example.....112 free maps...on the 360...you would be paying money for those maps....on the PC they are free....

PC games get much much much more free content the console games.

how about all the stuff rainbow six vegas and graw get on 360, we dont get any. sure modders can make maps, but they always suck and look like crap, rather have the makers release a map pack than a few kids make a map that no one plays. and graw on 360 got new single player content, pc never did. also, that map they just released for bf2, looks like it took 2 minutes to make. its so much better on 360, which i dont own. jsut makes me mad, always see stuff about what theyre doing for the consolesncderek

and seriously...try some user made maps...many times they turn out far better then developer maps.

I agree as well. on 360 you have to pay for almost every new thing. Very few things are free unlike PC where pretty much anything is. Thats one reason why i hate consoles but I still own all 3 next-gen systems anyway. But now I'm out of money :)

all of the responses have been pretty true, take a look at cs:s, just about doubled it's original map count over the next year+ for free. HL2:DM free.

FEAR maps and mp free

Trackmania nations free

BF2 maps free

maps for c&c 3, supreme commander free

Extra content on PC is usually free and pretty good. THen you add work of modders and yes there are sucky maps, but take a look at some of the cs:s free maps like cs_xmas, de_losttemple, de_nightfever. de_season - all high quality free maps.

Why do 360 players get free maps all the time? Umm.....How much does the Gears of War map pack cost Xbox gamers?

Microsoft will milk the lemmings, that is why they have done everything they can to raid the PC library and make the Xbox look attractive to PC gamers.

I will never buy a Microsoft console again. I believed the hype and marketing for the original Xbox. What a disappointment that thing was.
