Anyone who says theres not alot of hacks are hacks themselves or just blaintly blind. Go around and see on all these web sites how many hacks have been D/Led....TONS!! You cant tell me people dont hack. Now I do agree headphones make wonders for hearing clips changin out, pins being pulled and most def. hear footsteps. But dont sit around and deny that people dont hack.....and the ones that do, just dont have any skills and depend on their aimbot too get kills otherwise....They get OWNED and should be playing candlyland or chutes and ladders. If ya hack get a life you dont prove anything. On Americas Army screen shots could catch some hacks and you could send them into punk busters for them too analize. Sometimes you do get lucky shots and othertimes is obv. Thats my 2 cents.

#1: I think people falsely accuse people of using hacks way too often. Especially in CS:S

Steam pretty much eliminates all hacks on servers that choose to be secure. And alot of times people confuse old CS skills, like plugging in a set of headphones and listning to footsteps, as hacking. It's easy to detect hacks and secure servers will catch them 99% of the time. If you are playing on unsecure servers, change that practice

The Germans know why. They have a word for it. The word is Schadenfreude. Satisfaction or pleasure felt at someone else's misfortune.

I used to cheat in multiplayer games, and that's why. Nothing is more enjoyable then ruining other people's time. It's even better when you can get away with it, with them not knowing. I'd probably still hack if they didn't make the punishment equivelent to taking away your game.

Why is that, though? How do you get a kick out of a bunch of people you don't know literally despising you? I mean, even if you don't believe in good and bad energies and all that, even then it sounds completely retarded to me.

And neither VAC nor PB "eliminate" hacks as someone said here. And 40 and 2 as a sniper on IO map is not necessarily a hack. A hack is when someone gets 70 kills shooting a pkm from his hip.

Because it's hilarious. I've probably never had more laughs. A lot of people here are simply ignorant. They think "wow they suck so they have to hack" or whatever. It's not true. Hacks or not, I could probably beat everyone here in Counter-Strike blind-folded. I get acccused if I hack or not. Don't really care. I think it's rooted in having an advantage that no one else has, and they don't know you have it. That's the fun part about it. I get better scores when I don't hack simply because I'd rather not get caught.

Pretty sad stuff really. I mean, if I said and meant it that I "never in my life had more laughs" than while using a hack in an online game, I'd probably be pretty upset with myself a little later after I had a chance to think it over. I'd probably end up blaming my parents or education system or maybe TV. But seeing how you follow that up with "I could probably beat everyone *blindfolded*," which makes ZERO sense whatever way you look at it, I'm guessing that either you don't mean things you say, or you don't think about what you say a whole lot.

Whatever the case may be, I'm not one of those who think "wow they suck so they have to hack." Although I'm sure some of those who use scripts get them because of frustration caused by their gaming inaptitude. But most are, in my opinion, decent players, afflicted by some sort of psychological disorder. Hopefully, it'll go away for most over the years.

What's really sad is thinking you're holier-than-thou just because you're in disagreement about something you haven't even tried. Obviously my skill is an exaggeration (and if you don't know what that is, maybe you shouldn't be talking to other people but instead should be studying semantics). It's grossly obvious you and the OP are highly offended by cheaters, and you both fell right into the trap. "Hack clans" such as myg0t and the such don't hack to seem good. They do it to piss you off. It's just a game. There's hundreds (or thousands) of servers for you to choose from. Just switch. I'm not going to say cheating is a good thing. It's definitely not. But it's a lot of fun if you actually do it.

Why would he try it? Most people have a shred of deceny and don't go out of their way to wreck other people's online experience.

Cheaters should be billed $2000000000. They ruin great games and make the game horrible for others.
