I dont get it, they went for a 55nm process and it means it is probably cheaper to build, all they did was increase the clocks and all of sudden 225$, am I missing something here did they add shaders or something to warrant the price increase??

1) Those were pre-8.7 Catalyst
2) Anandtech isn't the de facto review source for hardware.

You didn't even look at the Anandtech benchmarks before posting your reply. They used 8.7 beta so it's closer to 8.7 WHQL than Legit's 8.6. I don't see the 9800gtx+ being 5% faster like you said.
