do you think that PSU will handle an 8800 GTS?
It does meet the system requirementsdiemensioncorp
Yes, I believe it should work just fine.
Edit: After reading Staryoshi's post, I've realized my mistake. This PSU doesn't have the necessary 6 pin connector, nor does it have 2 4 pin molex connectors. My bad.

That PSU doesn't have a 6 pin PCIE connector, which the 8800GTS's require 1 of. My answer is NO.
Yeah, a good PSU is a good thing to have.
As I build more and more powerful systems as the years go by, I'd rather have a PSU that I know is stable and capable of supporting what I throw at it. Plus, knowing that my hardware isn't at a greater likelihood of getting fried is good too.
So yeah...quality matters. You get what you pay for, right?
Put together a rig with an OCZ GameXStream 700 Watt PSU yesterday.Â
I want one. It is just a superior PSU in everyway compared to what I am using.  Even though my PSU has plenty of power, it is simply outclassed in every regard compared to this unit. Heat, volts, watts, cables, connections exc. Grabbing one of these units would benefit a rig as a whole. If its not just because of the steady rails, it due to the superior cables. This will allow keeping the case tidy easier helping airflow exc.Â
If a person doesn't think a high dollar PSU is worth it, they either are not using highend parts, or have not been exposed to one. Â
