I have an impossible time trying to steer in Grid. I just bought the game. I tried playing it on my PC with the keyboard and the X-BOX controller. I played it on my 32 inch tv with the keyboard and the X-BOX controller. I tried messing with the driver options that controlled the acceleration, steering and brake strenght of the car. I put it at different settings like from 0%-100%

Is this game just impossible to steer or is it just the PC version? I tried the default settings on the steering, brake and acceleration strenght settings and there is no way that they are supposed to be designed for the PC. The car kept spinning out and steering to easily right in to the walls.

Is PS3 version like that too?

are you using steering assists? I really don't think the game was meant to be played without stability control. I personally turned off brake assist because I find that takes out too much of the game, but left stability on. I had no real probs with steering, some of the cars are very touchy though and when you have stopped, tap the accell to speed up, if you hold it you will spin out.

erm, dont mean to sound bad here, but has it occured to you that you just might not be good at it?

i find the steering fine, if you turn as you are starting from stationary, then yes, you will spin out... so dont turn when starting up... get some speed up first. if you crash and need to get back into the road, then just ease it up to speed gently, not just holding down the forward key... you will most likely just hit something again.

i found that part of it a bit awkward at first, and i use the keyboard, but if you just give it a chance, try a few races and cars, you should get used to it
