why is my ddr3 ram runinng so slow

according to my cpu-z my ddr3ram is running at a frequency of 667, why is ddr3 so slow?

That's normal. If it shows 667Mhz in cpu-z, its actually double that : 1333Mhz, which is the speed of your DDR3 RAM.
