Must be something wrong on my end then... huh? I'm only getting 1.3 mb/s max. What could be the reason? Perhaps it's my location? I'm in southern California. My speed is 34-38 mb/s.

go to the Steam program browser, go to settings/Download+Cloud/Select Region and make sure the selected region is closer to your state

Thanks mate. I have my Steam Cloud disabled, but I always have my region to Los Angeles, California which is where I live. Hmmm. I've tried other locations nearby (in southern California), but no improvements.

The next time I purchase a game from Steam, I will be sure to have Steam Cloud enabled. Thanks again!

But look at his "download rate" during the video. The peak download rate seen is probably some sort of glitch or bug in Steam's part.

haha "my dream has come true."

Swedish cable broadband, it's usally at 120MB/s down and 15 up, but we've got some bad signal right now due to the weather.

I usually download from Steam at anywhere from 1.3-3mbps. But during the holiday sales, when I bought 4 games, they were downloading at 500kb/s at most and frequently paused. I have a 25/25 FiOS connection and typically get 35-80 down and 20 up. It's your connection. That, or Steam's servers have a high load.

44tb connection speed? MIGHT be possible in the year 2130.:P even then, im not even sure it'll be THAT fast. but i guess you're getting that figure as steams total upload limit to everyone.
