Wifi intermittently dropping out on PC but other devices are fine

I've been having an issue lately where my PC wifi connection is unstable. My PS4, smart TV and smart phone's wifi is fine, it's just my PC that is having the issue. I'm thinking I need a new network card but want to be sure before I purchase one.

Unfortunatly, connecting to my router via Ethernet is not possible

Weird. Is the wifi part of the motherboard?

• Update drivers/windows
• Check event viewer for errors
• Check for wifi dead spot with your phone where the antennas are. Use an app like WiFiman.

Its a TP Link wireless adapter I bought years ago. It is old so I thought it might be failing
