i need help. in cod4 when i zoom in, a border that is 4 or 5 pixels thick (usually white) appears along the bottom and the right side of my LCD monitor. how do i get rid of this problem?

How the f*** is a better moniter gonna help him run better, that sounds like a technical problem? Anyways as for the other guy, just buy an 8600 or a 8800 now!!!

You can run Call of Duty 4 on a computer that's like six years old. Seriously. I'd be surprised if your computer sucked so bad that you couldn't run it.
It might not look as good as it can, but you'll get a pretty decent image on even a 128 mb graphics card (which is what I have, and it looks great, no lie!)
But I think the game sucks btw

You can run Call of Duty 4 on a computer that's like six years old. Seriously. I'd be surprised if your computer sucked so bad that you couldn't run it.

This man speaks the truth. Just for kicks I installed CoD4 on my obsolete laptop. The specs: 1.6Ghz Centrino, 1GB DDR2700, 9600 Pro 128MB, and to top it off a 4200RPM HDD. It ran very smooth and I was even able to turn up a few of the options, so I didn't even have to play in the lowest possible settings. It actually looked pretty damn good as well, unlike some games that look ugly if you don't run it at least on medium. I'm pretty sure CoD4 is running on a "heavily" modified version of the CoD2 engine, so its extremely forgiving.
