People associate playing MMO's =nerd.

Would this apply?

so sick of people applying labels and such to each other ...... play the games or don't play the games ...... people who hate on video games probably spend way too much money on their cable and watch crappy tv shows

Agreed with this guy.

Agreed

If you are afraid that your friends will ridicule you for playing a game, any game then get some better friends.

lol why is nerd referred to as a bad thing? Im a nerd and proud of it. But also have a content life and chill social life. lol. Take pride boy. Who says you cant be remotely intelligent and have a social life too? lol. I do think that WoW would be a waste of both money and time though. The problem with MMOs is that you PAY for them and thus have to PLAY them to justify spending that money every month. Nerd is what you make of it. Life is what you make of it.

Nope, I play when I want.

Haven't you ever purchased a Single Player game and never played it? or played it only a little bit?

How many people pay a gym membership monthly and then only go 2 days a week cause they can't the other days?

-_- There is nothing wrong with being a nerd. Being a nerd is just being enthusiastic about something.

Yes because having your elf cast magic or your dwarf swing an axe at an orc's head is nowhere near as cool as posting your call of duty video (with a variation of the word 'montage') on YouTube.

Let's turn that around. Do you think people who play MMOS are nerds? If you do, do you think that's a bad thing? Why do you care what others think anyway?

Don't listen to him! he like Monkey Island :o

Damn straight. Monkey Island is awesome. :P

I second that :) Besides I thought people were no longer nerds for gaming? or is that just something I cooked up in my head to make me feel better haha?

A very good friend of mine, heavily into death metal scene, dress like one, live like one, gets into fights every week, change girls like he changes clothes :P and every time we hang out together, 10% of the convo will be about girls, 15% about movies and other real life stuffs and the rest will be about WoW. Unless he has work or plans on a particular day, he would spend whole days and nights playing WoW. Unless your definiton of a nerd is different than mine, I don't think that fits the stereotype of a nerd. WoW won't make you a nerd, its your attitude and personality.
