will i have to pay extra to play gears of war online???

im thinking of getting gears of war when the game gets released and im wondering if there will be any fees to play the game online. ty!

I was under the impression that Live for Windows offers free multi-player, but charges for voice support and the like. ILostOnJeprody

The standard account is the free mulitplayer, gold account gets the extra crap as far as voice goes ingame I'm not sure I haven't seen anything, just going off from what they did with Halo 2 PC

Everyone has voice in halo 2. Multiplayer is free for everyone but silver members wouldn't be able to use the true skill matchmaking, multiplayer achievements or host P2P games judging from halo 2. I cannot believe people actually ask these questions like they don't know how to use the web. Link

Basically the only thing you are missing is P2P but who does that on comuters and I don't know of any game with trueskill matchmaking.

I was planning on trying this game but if i have to pay to play a game I already bought theres no way. Thats the same reason I quit playing MMO's.
