iam no sure because iam about to get this pc.
But iam more worried about the 2.4ghz dual core. The recommended for oblivion is 3ghz, soi dont know if my 2.4ghz dual will be able to handle that. Iam pretty sure the graphics card will be a good one.

your dual core is fine. it's your gpu that you should be most worried about. where are you getting the pc from? wherever you're getting it from should tell you what kind of gpu the pc has.

3Ghz is for single core. 2.4Ghz dual core is much more powerful. Is it Core 2 Duo E6600? It has 2.4Ghz clock speed.
And like others said, tell us more about your graphic card. Memory amount doesn't tell a thing.
This belongs in PC Hardware Discussion by the way.
Years back, maybe four or five, I was searching for a new GPU to run games. I asked questions on forums for a good GPU. I linked them to one I thought was good, and they said it was bad. I went for one with 256MB of VRAM with a terrible clock speed. It didn't make sense to me, so thankfully, someone pointed out to me that it matters about your actual processor in the GPU. Now, I'm pointing that to you.
Post what kind of GPU you have....
Why don't you try this, well, when you get your PC of course.

I don't trust System Requirements Lab myself.
I recommend www.yougamers.com. Publisher's minimum/recommended specs can be sometimes amiss. YouGamers tests the games too and give their own requirements.

I have never heard of that site...I'll give it a try, though I don't really need to. Look at my rig.
