id say your more than fine for a while, i mean that gpu just came out and its amazing performance will hold over for a good while, there are people that use 2-3 generation parts that are still going strong now. and most games are only starting to take full advantage of a quad core cpu so id say yeah
If the reports about the next gen consoles using low tdp based gpu's(like the AMD 6670) you will still smoke them even with today's medium ranged gpus.
It probably will with a 670. People are saying the 720/ps4 won't be packed with power. They could have power = to a 600 series card or even a 500 series card. I hoping the wii u will have at least the power of a 560 NON TI, which is what's in my comp.

It depends on were consoles go, if they go no where then todays pc's will have no issue. With the raising cost of production, dev time and more. I would be shocked to see any huge jump. Plus the sweet spot for sales was found and you would be crazy to go much higher than that.

For the last three years optimization has been pretty much compromises. And I didnt know that an AMD 6670 (reported to be in the next xbox) could out perform a gpu multiple times faster just because its in a console because they "optimize" Sounds like typical consoler denial to me.
