[QUOTE="JigglyWiggly_"]Yeah, the charm stuff still works. Office 2013 I don't know what to expect. I do like cloud synch stuff, but I don't have a problem with office related stuff since I just save files in my dropbox folder. Skydrive is fine too I guess. Though what makes Dropbox still #1 is the ability to use direct urls for public folders. So you can hotlink images in forums and stuff.FelipeInside
Dropbox started off as great, now it's complete s**** cause of one main problem: their upload rate is atrocious.
I think SkyDrive has a public mode but don't know about Direct URL (I guess it would).
Their speeds are okay, but yeah they aren't too fast.I can only upload at around 1.2 MB/s. Also tested at university internet.
I can upload at 2.5 MB/s on my Comcast connection and university is capped due to the switches at 1 gb/s.
Downloads aren't too fast either, caps out at 5 MB/s when I can do 13-14 MB/s
Skydrive and google drive both do not have direct url linking. Dropbox also lets you abuse it for sv_downloadurl if you are hosting a game server.
Spideroak actually lets you have more control over your public folder than any of the cloud storage solutions.
Except it mandates public urls with https... so that breaks pretty much everything. Dropbox allows for https and http
And it actually follows a folder structure.
Another benefit of dropbox is that it's available on like every platform.
Skydrive is a pita for linux.
