Will Spore replace WoW for me?

I'm at the point where WoW isn't getting any better. And today without hesitation I picked up Spore, but after reading some reviews i'm having second thoughts about opening the package...

What to do?

spore and wow are un comparable. I hate both so I cant tell you but you can't compare em in anyway. If the videos and reviews dont please you don't open it.

Pc games are pretty expensive. I'd be sure before opening it up otherwise you can't return it.

You wanna know the best way to replace WoW? Uninstall it. I was getting to the point where i'd spend hours in a raid trying to get one item and may not even get it. I finally said to myself "What is the point in doing this other then loosing total sociability with mankind in trying to obtain fictional items". That got me to drop WoW and uninstall it. BTW Spore isnt as fun as the hype makes it seem. I got it beat one go through in 6 hours, not worth the 50 bucks in my opinion.

hahahaha

Maybe it IS time to stop WoW. or start playing more pvp. either way the grind is still as degrading.

I'm leaving for spain in a week and I'll be there for about 7 weeks, so I want a casual game to kill down time. So if Spore isn't it what is?

i don't get it i think spore is great but.... a lot of people seem to not like it which was surprisng to me after playing spore a few hours today. of course i love animals so that helps a lot.

congrats on getting over Wow. You can have your socialibility back. AND thats why im waiting to buy SPORE its worth around $30 imo.

lol your going to spain and your worried about what game your playng during your stay?? play solitary that should be more then enough =p

also spore is not really a game that you use to kill time since its REALLY time consuming

Spore is a fun casual game to play, I like it alot so far but dont expect anything deep. It shouldn't replace WoW at all(be honest you will be back for Lich king xpack dont lie) but for me a bunch of games together replaced WoW(sins,spore,TF2, Armed Assault, Mount and Blade,etc).

Spore might replace it for a week. It just doesn't have the longevity that an MMO has. I got to the civilization stage in 3 hours.

i wanted to play spore, i was hyped, but i know it would be a waste of money at this point. i think id rather buy some gold or silver coins and cover myself in riches that never fade
