will the core i7 920 hold back the x2 gtx 280 in sli?

I am thinking of getting a core i7 920 and a sli setup GTX280 (x2)

My question is, will the core i7 920 hold back the two gtx280's potential?

it will be coming with a ddr3 6gb and a powersupply that will support the gpu

i will use this system for high res/graphic multiboxxing and other intense applications like potentially multiboxxing age of conan

You asking people is the BEGINNING of research. If you don't find the answer to your question, then you look somewhere else. Where do you think others are going to get their answers?
