System requirements for CoD4:

Required (minimum) Specs

  • CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 2.4 GHz or AMD(R) Athlon(TM) 64 2800+ processor or any 1.8Ghz Dual Core Processor or better supported
  • RAM: 512MB RAM (768MB for Windows Vista)
  • Hard Drive: 8GB of free space
  • Video card: NVIDIA(R) Geforce(TM) 6600 or better or ATI(R) Radeon(R) 9800 Pro or better
Recommended Specs
  • CPU: 2.4 GHz dual core or better
  • RAM: 1G for XP; 2G for Vista
  • Hard Drive: 8GB of free space
  • Video card: 3.0 Shader Support recommended. Nvidia Geforce 7800 or better or ATI Radeon X1800 or better

Laptop specs:

  • AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 2.0 Ghz

  • NVIDIA GeForce Go 7150M (UMA)

I'm assuming the RAM and processor is good, but I'm curious about the graphics card. I'm unfamiliar with the 7150; can anyone offer some help?

mite just run it but that gpu is really pushing it. get atleast a 8400 if you want it to be playable on more then minium settings and 640x480. but the 8600/2600 would be a much better idea

yes at medium....which looks not too good, but better then say far cry 1, it looks realtive to rainbow six lockdown i fu have ever played that...on medium that is...its not bad, playable and textures from distance look fine...i don't like it, but it will play'em...look for a lappy with a gpu above a 7600 gt for lappies.

I've seen it played on a P4 2.8 gHz, 1 gig RAM, and X300 on low settings averaging about 30 fps. And it actually looked pretty good. It'll play it, fairly well, too, but not with all the pretty stuff turned on.

7150M..................good luck, games played at such levels aren't really worth paying for, let alone playing. a 7600, or 8600 would have helped a lot.

in my opinion 7900go+, anything less would not play the newer games with any of the eye candy turned on. Maybe with unaceptable framerate. But hey dont be down just check if you are able to switch the video card which I am 99% sure you cant because most laptops come with them solidered on. Laptop GPU's arent as expensive as desktop GPU's except for the 8800 series.
