Yea... well you should probably punch whoever told you that in the balls.

You can run vista on 512mbs of RAM, although 1 Gb is the recommended amount.

yea there is.And vista runs fine on AMD X2 3600+ 1gb and GF6100

not fully I think

Vista 32 bit cannot recognize all 4 GBs, I think its around 3.5Gbs is all that it'll see.

You need the 64 bit if you want 4Gb+
